School Uniform Policy
The Prichard Preparatory School (PPS) uniform is designed to promote a neat, modest, and distraction-free learning environment. Parents are strongly encouraged to label all uniform items with the student’s name to assist with the return of lost items.
Blazers are mandatory for all students of all grade levels. Students may not borrow blazers from the front office. Students may also wear red cardigan sweaters with PPS logo and/or Prichard Preparatory Logo sweatshirts. All students are expected to be in full uniform every school day.
The uniform policy will be strictly enforced. Any student who does not adhere to the uniform policy will receive a write-up for each occurrence.
Uniforms may be purchased from Zoghby’s (Bit and Spur Road) and/or French Toast (online). Please refer to the attached uniform guide for specific uniform requirements.
PRe-K Girls
Plaid Jumper (Plaid #37); skorts are not permitted.
White Blouse with Peter Pan Collar (long or short sleeves)
Red Sweater with PPS Logo
Blazer (Mandatory). Required to wear every Monday and Chapel days.
White crew socks
White tights
Black and White Oxford/Saddle Shoes. No Tennis Shoes, “Hey Dudes”, Kids or Mary Janes.
Cross tie (Plaid #37) - optional
Headbands, scrunchies, or hair ribbons must be solid red, white, navy blue or Plaid #37
PRe-k Boys
Navy uniform pants with elastic waist only; no belt required
White polo shirt (short or long sleeves), white undershirts only.
Red sweater with PPS logo

White Crew Socks
Tie (optional); Plaid #37
Black Loafer; No tennis shoes, “Hey Dudes” or Keds.
K-5th grade girls

Headbands, Scrunches, or Hair Ribbons must be solid red, white, navy blue or plaid #37
Navy blue shorts may be worn under jumpers.
Prichard Prep girls should wear their hair neat, well groomed, and off the face. Radical hairstyles are not permitted, including but not limited to unusual colors, spikes, tails, or shaved styles.
Jewelry is discouraged due to safety concerns during physical education and the risk of loss.
One pair of quarter size or smaller pair of earrings may be worn, with one earring permitted per earlobe only.
One religious symbol necklace may be worn on a fine, jewelry chain. One watch may be worn. One ring per hand is permitted.
Wearing jewelry of any kind to school is discouraged since it is a hazard during physical education class and is easily lost.
Tattoos are not permitted. Make-up is not permitted.
K-5th Grade Boys
Navy Blue Pants. Black or Brown Belt (required).
White Oxford Shirts (white undershirts only)
Red Sweater with PPS Logo
Navy Blue Blazer with PPS Logo. Required to wear every Monday and Chapel days.
White Crew Socks
Black Loafers - Shoes are to be clean and worn properly; no tennis shoes, “Hey Dudes” or Keds.
Ties - plaid #37
Hair must be cut above the eyebrows and ears and no longer than one inch below the natural hairline at the back of the neck (above the collar).
Shaves and fades are allowed only if no designs are present. Mohawks are permitted if no higher than one inch.
Radical hairstyles are not permitted, including but not limited to unusual colors, spikes or tails. Hairstyles must not be distracting in the classroom.
Earrings are not permitted. One religious symbol necklace may be worn on a fine jewelry chain. One watch may be worn.
